The Processor (CPU)

Stick with me! We're about through the tough part. Actually, we are through the tough part. This is just the cooldown page.

So far we have an ATX Case, PSU, Fans for cooling, an ATX Motherboard, and a Processor that fits the motherboard all picked out and ready to buy right? Well, if you answered with an enthusiastic 'YES!!!' then I'd so go for it! If you still have doubts, I'd do some more reading.

Look down there! That's right! The end of this page is right there. Within sight. That's because we already covered about all of the necessary info on processors on the first motherboard page! If you want to go back and reread it you can click here to go to the 'Choosing a Motherboard' page.

Here's some good news!! If you plugged all those parts together and hit the power button on your computer, the fans would turn on and any lights would start blinking! From the outside your computer would look pretty snazzy. But about 2 seconds after pushing the 'ON' button you'd be met with an annoying steady beep from your PC Speaker saying quite clearly "I need RAM".

That is what we're talking about next.
