It all started about 14 years after the neighbor kid was born. He frequently came over asking for computer tips and I patiently answered them. He asked how I came to know what I know. My reply? Lots of Google Searches and Lots of Reading (and College helped a bit too).

Well, he saved up his money and was soon off to the net to see what he could find that would help him in making his own computer. I was surprised at what he found; almost nothing. I figured there would be tons of guides, but there were few. Not to mention hard to find and not as concise as I felt they should be. So, a few weeks later and Tadaa!!! Here's the site!

Well, I don't charge for this service. I do, however, have quite a bit of time involved in the creation of this site. If you would like to contribute as a 'Thank You' of sorts, you can use the PayPal Donate button below. Of course, you could just send a note from the Contact page saying 'Thank You' and that would be fine, too. (But I do like getting emails with money in them :)

Also on that note, the ads on the side of the page are there to help offset the cost of maintaining this site. I get a few cents each time someone clicks on one of those little guys so if you see something interesting... :)
